Before installing this replacement housing, make sure the below conditions are first checked and satisfied (warranty void if broken.)
- The (main) reasons a starter nose will break:
- Bent armature shaft
- Ignition timing is incorrect
- Improper drive to ring gear clearance
- Defective distributor cap / wires causing the engine to kick back
